Lights & Sound Crews
The lighting crew is the custodian of the lighting equipment and is responsible for maintaining the equipment in operating condition and keeping the equipment is in a safe operating condition. For a production, the lighting crew is responsible for setting the lighting instruments and operating the equipment during the performances. The crew works with the director and/or lighting designer to execute the stage lighting design and electrical special effects for a designated production. Typical procedures for a production:
SOUND The sound crew is the custodian is responsible for operating the sound system during the run of a production. The crew is may be responsible for arranging for renting amplification equipment to augment the existing system. The crew works with the director to execute the required sound amplification and sound effects for a designated production. Typical procedures for a production:
